Executive Committee Meeting

The national President Ezora J. Proctor, convened with the elected officers, Sectional Directors, and two past National Presidents in Lafayette, LA during the weekend of  September 10 - 12, 1999.

Her agenda included: new insights into program development; plans for the 61st National Convention: strategies for membership growth; proposed activities and campaigns for the National headquarters; establishment of a partnership with U.S. Census 2000.

The members of the Executive Committee were warmly greeted by members  of several branches of southern Louisiana. Many dignitaries of the Lafayette area, including Mayor Cumeaux and Representitive Hudson were present to receive the NAUW executives who hailed from all parts of the United States.
